Content and Communications Executive

Type: Full Time
Compensation: £28k - £32k / year

Here at GoFind Recruitment, we are proud to be representing an industry leading and award winning Communication Systems business in their search for a driven and creative Content & Communications Executive to join their dynamic team based at their offices in the Preston area.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be creating engaging content across all areas of the business – from website and blog copy to printed brochures, email campaigns, tender submissions, and award applications.

You’ll play a central role in developing how their business communicates, both internally and externally. 

Working alongside external designers, a website developer, and an SEO specialist, you’ll ensure the business messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with our growth ambitions in the UK and beyond.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to): 

  • Write, edit, and proof content for websites, printed materials, brochures, email campaigns, internal documents, and presentations.
  • Manage and deliver content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), working with external designers for visual assets.
  • Create compelling blog posts, tender submissions, and award entries.
  • Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all communications.
  • Draft and coordinate press releases and support PR outreach.
  • Contribute to the overall marketing strategy with content ideas and execution.
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver aligned content across channels.
  • Maintain a content calendar aligned with the business’s communication priorities.

Experience / Qualifications: 

Essential

  • Proven experience in a copywriting or content creation role (agency or in-house).
  • Exceptional written English and a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to turn technical or complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.

Desirable

  • Background or exposure to software, technology, or audio/communications industries.
  • Experience writing for tenders or award submissions.
  • Awareness of SEO best practices for web copy.
  • Experience using or managing social media platforms for business.
  • Understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and tone consistency.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Trello, HubSpot, or WordPress.
