Multi-Skiled Tradesperson

Compensation: £30.5k - £38.5k / year

Due to further contract wins, they are on the search for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join their dynamic team based in Blackpool and the surrounding areas.

You will be delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across a variety of properties and sites. This role requires versatility across multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and basic electrics, with a focus on completing works efficiently, safely, and to a professional standard.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to): 

  • Carry out a wide range of building maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Carpentry (doors, skirting, stud walls)
  • Plumbing 
  • Plastering, painting, and decorating
  • Locks / window changes
  • Tiling, flooring, and general finishing work
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete planned works as scheduled.
  • Accurately diagnose issues and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, health & safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, respecting tenants, clients, or other site users.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, tenants, and colleagues to update on progress or raise any issues.
  • Keep records of work completed and materials used, using job management systems where required.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to deliver works to deadlines and quality standards.

Essential Experience / Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in a similar multi-trade or general building role.
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in a core trade.
  • Strong skills in at least two core trades (e.g., joinery, plumbing, plastering).
  • Ability to problem-solve and work across a variety of building types (e.g., domestic, commercial, void properties).
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety practices.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Posses own hand tools.
  • Full UK driving license.
