This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence within merchant services industry.

The Payment Specialist will be responsible for connecting with clients and assisting them in exploring commercial finance and payment solutions. This role involves prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with merchants, and helping businesses find the best payment solutions to improve their operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong B2B experience and will be adept at building relationships with clients to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to): 

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities for payment processing services.
  • Conduct needs analysis to offer tailored solutions to businesses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with small and mid-sized business owners.
  • Guide business owners through the onboarding process and ensure a smooth setup.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Educate businesses on regulatory compliance, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.

Essential Experience / Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in merchant services (full training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to understand and explain financial products to clients.
  • Basic technical understanding of payment processing integration is an advantage.

Benefits: 

  • Competitive salary of £27,000 - £29,000 (DOE) with a realistic OTE of £60,000.
