Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

Here at GoFind Recruitment, we are proud to be representing an industry leading construction group in their search for an experienced and results-driven Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to join their growing team based in Blackpool.

They will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installation work carried out by the company complies with current legislation, British Standards (BS 7671), and the requirements of the company’s electrical registration body (e.g. NICEIC or NAPIT). The QS plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, quality, and safety across all construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to): 

  • Act as the company’s nominated Electrical Qualifying Supervisor with the relevant governing body (NICEIC / NAPIT).
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with: BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), Building Regulations (Part P) and Health & Safety at Work Act.
  • Oversee and sign off electrical installation and certification (EIC, EICR, Minor Works).
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks on electrical works.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and site teams.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented where non-compliances are identified.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, amendments, and industry best practice.
  • Support assessments and audits by electrical registration bodies.
  • Assist with RAMS, technical submissions, and client handovers where required.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and external stakeholders.

Essential Experience / Qualifications: 

  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • AM2 or AM2S qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • Previous experience acting as a Qualifying Supervisor or senior electrical role.
  • Strong understanding of construction site environments.
  • Experience with inspection, testing, and certification.
  • Knowledge of NICEIC or NAPIT compliance requirements.
