Electrician
GoFind Recruitment are currently working with an established and growing Blackpool-based electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their expanding team, based in the Blackpool area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of domestic, commercial and solar projects with genuine progression opportunities into a QS or Foreman position.
The Role
You will be working across a range of domestic and commercial installations, maintenance, and upgrade projects. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to be part of a business investing in renewable and future-focused technologies.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Electrical installation, testing and inspection in domestic and commercial environments
- Fault finding, maintenance and remedial works
- Installation of consumer units, distribution boards and associated systems
- Working with hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Solar PV installation (desirable)
- EV charger installation (desirable)
- Ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations
- Occasional working away when required (expenses covered where applicable)
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent desirable)
- Experience across both domestic and commercial projects
- Solar experience desirable
- EV charger installation experience desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to work away on occasion
