Electrician

GoFind Recruitment are currently working with an established and growing Blackpool-based electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their expanding team, based in the Blackpool area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of domestic, commercial and solar projects with genuine progression opportunities into a QS or Foreman position.

The Role

You will be working across a range of domestic and commercial installations, maintenance, and upgrade projects. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to be part of a business investing in renewable and future-focused technologies.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Electrical installation, testing and inspection in domestic and commercial environments
  • Fault finding, maintenance and remedial works
  • Installation of consumer units, distribution boards and associated systems
  • Working with hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Solar PV installation (desirable)
  • EV charger installation (desirable)
  • Ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations
  • Occasional working away when required (expenses covered where applicable)

Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent desirable)
  • Experience across both domestic and commercial projects
  • Solar experience desirable
  • EV charger installation experience desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work away on occasion
