Electrical Labourer

GoFind Recruitment are currently working with an established and growing electrical contractor based in Blackpool is seeking a reliable and hardworking Electrical Labourer to support their expanding team across domestic and commercial projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the electrical industry, with exposure to renewables, EV installations and commercial works.

The Role

You will work alongside qualified Electricians assisting with installations, maintenance and upgrade projects across a variety of sites. The role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and growing business.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Assisting Electricians on domestic and commercial installations
  • Cable pulling, containment work and trunking
  • Installing conduit, tray and ladder rack
  • Chasing walls and general site preparation
  • Assisting with solar PV installations (where applicable)
  • Assisting with EV charger installations
  • Loading/unloading materials and organising tools
  • Using hand tools and power tools safely
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Occasional working away when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Labourer or Mate
  • Basic understanding of electrical installations
  • ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the trade
  • Ability to work away on occasion
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
