Roofer

Compensation: £37.5k - £45k / year

Here at GoFind Recruitment, we are proud to be representing a family run award winning roofing solutions business based in Blackpool in their search for a Roofer to join their growing team!

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical ability, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a proactive approach on-site. You will work across residential and commercial projects, carrying out installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to): 

  • Carry out roofing works including pitched and flat roofing installation, repairs, and refurbishment
  • Install materials such as tiles, slates, felt, EPDM, GRP, and other relevant systems
  • Identify and repair roof leaks and structural issues
  • Follow job specifications, site drawings, and instructions accurately
  • Work at height safely, following all health & safety procedures
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order
  • Liaise with site managers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth delivery
  • Complete daily job sheets and report progress
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards and company quality expectations
  • Coordinate with site managers, other trades, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
  • Identify and report any issues, delays, or technical problems to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including test certificates and daily logs.

Experience / Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Roofer (minimum 2 years + preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of flat and/or pitched roofing systems.
  • Experience in quotations when on specific jobs.
  • Comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CSCS card (desirable).
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
  • Full driving licence required.
