They are one of the leaders in their industry specialising in the supply, install, repair and service of all types of automatic doors, with their offices based in Lancashire.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Automatic Door Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on auto door experience and holding a current BS EN 16005 qualification. This role is perfect for engineers who are reliable, proactive, and enjoy both the technical and problem-solving aspects of industrial door installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of automatic doors across commercial and industrial sites including schools, retirement villages, offices and factories.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical faults efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the directors to gain exposure to all aspects of the business, from engineering to project management.
- Take the lead on projects as opportunities arise, contributing to the company’s growth.
- Be available for on-call support if required.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
Candidate Requirements:
- BS EN 16005 qualification in automatic doors (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Automatic Door Installations (desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in the automatic door industry
- Industrial Door experience (desirable)
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive mindset.
- Flexible approach to occasional on-call requirements.
- Full UK driving license (maximum of 3 points)
- Clean up to date DBS check
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker (essential)
- DHF shutters or gates & barriers qualification (desirable)
- IPAF 3A +3B & PASMA Certified (desirable)
