Day Porter
GoFind Recruitment is working with a popular group of hotel and entertainment venues in Blackpool, looking to appoint two reliable and hardworking Day Porters to join its friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, meeting people and delivering excellent customer service in a busy hospitality environment.
The Role
You'll play an important part in the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel, assisting guests and supporting different departments to ensure everything runs efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests and assisting with luggage
- Moving and parking guest vehicles safely
- Supporting reception and housekeeping teams
- Keeping public areas clean, tidy and presentable
- Assisting guests with general enquiries and requests
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the hotel
- Helping with general day-to-day hotel operations
Working Hours
Shifts operate on a rota basis:
- Early Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Late Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Full flexibility is essential, including availability to work weekends, bank holidays and peak holiday periods.
What We're Looking For
- Full, clean UK driving licence – essential
- Flexible availability across both shift patterns
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Friendly and professional approach to guests
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to support different departments
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience desirable but not essential
