Employer Engagement Coordinator

GoFind Recruitment is looking for 3 confident, driven and personable Employer Engagement Coordinators to join a leading education provider in Blackpool on a fixed-term contract through to March 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in sales, recruitment, business development, customer engagement or education who enjoy building relationships and turning conversations into results.

You'll play a key role in connecting local construction businesses with students seeking valuable industry placements, helping young people gain real-world experience and take their first steps into their future careers.

You'll be working with existing employer leads, developing relationships and securing placement opportunities, so confidence on the phone, strong organisation and a proactive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to) 

  • Contact and follow up with existing employer leads to secure industry placements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and employers.
  • Convert employer enquiries and opportunities into confirmed placements.
  • Coordinate placement arrangements between employers, students and internal teams.
  • Manage a busy pipeline of employer leads and follow-up activity.
  • Work towards agreed placement targets and project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, databases and progress reports.
  • Liaise with curriculum teams to ensure placements meet student requirements.
  • Support safeguarding, confidentiality and relevant health and safety processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in sales, recruitment, business development, employer engagement or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working towards targets and achieving results.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and proactive approach.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience within education, apprenticeships, T Levels or employability.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry or local employer networks.
  • Experience arranging work placements or coordinating employer opportunities.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport.

What's on Offer?

  • £28,000 – £30,000 annual salary (pro rata).
  • Full-time working hours – 37.5 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, office-based position.
  • Fixed-term contract until the end of March 2027.
