This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced COT Specialist (or someone with strong utilities / metering / account management experience) to join a business where process, performance, and progression are genuinely valued.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth transitions of energy supply for commercial customers, owning the process from instruction through to successful contract alignment.
The Role
As a Change of Tenancy Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing the full COT lifecycle across a portfolio of commercial clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end Change of Tenancy (COT) processes for gas & electricity accounts
- Liaising with suppliers, third parties, and internal sales teams to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Validating tenancy changes, including occupancy dates and supporting documentation
- Resolving billing discrepancies, contract issues, and supplier objections
- Tracking and updating internal CRM systems with accurate customer and contract data
- Working closely with sales to ensure seamless onboarding of new customers
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to expedite and troubleshoot cases
- Ensuring all processes align with industry regulations and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For

Ideal experience:
- Previous experience in a utilities brokerage or energy supplier
- Strong understanding of COT processes, metering, and industry flows
- Experience handling gas and electricity accounts (SME / commercial preferred)
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator—able to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and hit deadlines
What’s On Offer
- Competitive base salary of £24,000 - £28,000
- 15% commission uncapped on all personal revenue and team quarterly bonus structure - Some of the team are exceeding £1500 - £2000 per week in commissions!!
