We are seeking a talented culinary leader who combines creativity, precision, and commercial awareness, with a passion for delivering rosette-level standards through innovative yet approachable cuisine.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take full ownership of the culinary direction, leading the kitchens with a focus on quality, consistency, and innovation. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in enhancing the hotel’s food offering and strengthening its reputation within the regional dining scene.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering seasonal, premium menus using high-quality ingredients
- Maintaining rosette-level standards across all food service for the 140 guest restaurant and the hotels formal events
- Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing kitchen brigade
- Ensuring exceptional presentation, flavour, and consistency across all dishes
- Managing kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Driving GP targets, cost control, and kitchen financial performance
- Maintaining outstanding food hygiene and compliance standards
- Supporting private dining, tasting menus, and exclusive events
- Collaborating with front-of-house and hotel leadership to create a seamless luxury guest experience
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a luxury hotel, fine dining, or rosette-standard environment
- Still have that "front line" approach and not afraid to roll their sleeves up
- A strong culinary identity with a passion for refined yet accessible cuisine
- Having a customer first attitude and happy to engage with customers face to face
- Experience in menu development and delivering premium guest experiences
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and culture with teams of up to 1
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of kitchen profitability
- Calm, professional approach with attention to detail and high standards
