Residential Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established therapeutic care provider for a Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home. They are a new and ambitious organisation, established to change the lives of young people in care. They provide specialised support to children and young people (aged 8–17) who have experienced trauma and exploitation, helping them to thrive in a safe, caring and supportive environment. This role will involve the opening of a brand new home(s), from building a team to welcoming a child into the home and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate leader to make a real difference in the lives of young people, within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are consistently achieved. You will lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team while creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.

Your Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a new children’s residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Manage, motivate, and support a dedicated staff team.
- Take operational responsibility for safeguarding and compliance with Ofsted standards.
- Build strong relationships with families, social workers, schools, health services, and other agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement, aiming for Ofsted ratings of "Good" or "Outstanding."
About You
- Experienced in residential childcare (minimum 3 years, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role).
- Qualified to Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or working towards it).
- Skilled in safeguarding, risk assessment, and care planning.
- Resilient, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.
- Able to lead by example, inspire staff, and place young people at the heart of everything they do.
- Holder of a full UK driving licence.
