Residential Support Worker

Gofind Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established residential childcare provider in the Southport area, currently looking to recruit Residential Support Workers to join their dedicated and supportive team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people within a safe and nurturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting daily routines, including education, activities, and life skills
  • Building strong, trusting relationships and acting as a positive role model
  • Encouraging independence and personal development
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for young people

What We’re Looking For:

  • Aged 21+ (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience working with children and young people (residential or similar preferred)
  • A caring, resilient, and professional approach
  • Passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential)
  • Willingness to work towards Level 3 if not already qualified
