GoFind Recruitment are proud to be representing a well-established and growing facilities management business based in Blackpool in their search for a motivated Sales Development Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual looking to join an ambitious business with exciting growth plans. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients and supporting the sales process from initial contact through to successful onboarding.

The Role

As a Sales Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new commercial opportunities while building a strong pipeline of prospective clients. You'll work closely with the Business Development Manager, arranging appointments, supporting client meetings, preparing proposals and ensuring a seamless customer journey from initial inquiry through to service delivery. This is a varied role that combines lead generation, relationship management, sales administration and customer account support, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within commercial sales

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and social media.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective commercial clients, qualifying opportunities
  • Arrange and attend both office-based and face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients where required.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding client requirements and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Support the preparation of quotations, pricing proposals and service agreements.
  • Follow up proposals, maintain regular communication with prospective clients and assist in progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager and operations team to coordinate engineers and maintenance works following successful contract awards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication throughout the sales and onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, customer information and sales activity.
  • Complete all associated sales administration and ensure documentation is maintained to a high standard.
  • Work towards monthly and annual business development targets, contributing to the continued growth of the company.
  • Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships through additional services and referrals.
  • Earn uncapped commission on new business successfully secured.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, Telesales, Account Management or a similar B2B commercial role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in making outbound sales calls and securing appointments.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to generating new business.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
